I set up an online store, T.H.E.store – www.cafepress.com/thestorehk, and I would like to promote my small business to worldwide. One of the methods I want to use is email marketing but I don’t have any receivers’ email address. So, where I can get ibulk email addresses without paying ?

Don’t use email marketing..alot of people hate getting spam. Instead why don’t you work on getting your website high in the search engines and try using sponsored links e.g. on google so that people will see you site highlighted when they use certain search words?

I currently run a small internet marketing blog and I have an email autoresponder with which I offer a free 5 day mini course on my subject matter.

The subject matter is: Internet Marketing and making money online.

How would you suggest I promote the actual opting in to my email list to build a list of prospects etc.

The best way to sign people up and keep them coming is useful, original content that is always fresh and updated. In fact, if you’re talking about making money online, I’d hint at ways that you could do it which are easy or at the very least intriguing.

Since you’re touting yourself as a subject matter expert, you need to demonstrate that what you have to say is valuable and they can benefit from it. Success stories are good for this and will improve your chances that they will stay tuned.

Other ways to build opt-ins are referrals (ask subscribers to refer a friend), an incentive of some kind, purchase an email list (this is kind of a gray area), or find a partner who might already have a decent list and sponsor them.

Also, since you run a blog, are you fully syndicated? There’s a lot of chatter out there and at the very least you should participate in boosting your blog’s reputation.

I am new to the email marketing strategies. Does anyone out there have any good tips or websites? I appreciate the help.

There are different strategies for different targets/goals.
Some tatics work better if your intention is subscription, other tactics might be better if you want to generete leads or sales….

First time i used Yahoo! & Hot mail for email marketing! After 100-150 emails i send my both account deleted! Because i send too many spam. Now i just try to get a service that will let me send emails to anyone, so i can do my email marketing campaign. And it must be FREE. If anyone know about those service or anything else then PLEASE let me know.

There are many e-marketing service free trails. Though many of them have anti-spam policies.
